King of Glory - frameable print

mara bochart design

"Open up, ancient gates! ...the King of glory shall come in." Psalm 24:9 NLT, NKJV

This artwork is a photo collage taken from my trip to Israel: the Eastern gate, trees from the Mount of Olives, Jerusalem.

The “Golden Gate” was sealed by the Ottoman Turks in 1530 A.D.  A Muslim cemetery was put in front of it to prevent the entrance of the Jewish Messiah through that gate. Little did they know, they were fulfilling prophecy by doing this. It would be shut “because the LORD the God of Israel, hath entered in by it, therefore it shall be shut.” (Ezekiel 44:2)  Jesus entered Jerusalem through the original East gate which was destroyed with the city by the Romans in 70 A.D.

The Eastern gate is presently sealed. However, Messiah Yeshua will set His feet down upon the Mount of Olives and walk through this gate into Jerusalem. Hallelujah!
